OTHER CRUISES ON YOUR OWN
While in the Munising area, you might enjoy a short cruise westernly along M-28 and the beautiful Lake Superior shoreline to AuTrain, Michigan. In AuTrain, you can enjoy the sandy beaches of AuTrain Beach, the warm (well, warmer than Lake Superior) waters of AuTrain River, pasties at one of the locally-owned stores, or if you more time, a lazy float down the AuTrain River in canoes or kayaks.
During the fall colors, you may enjoy a very nice cruise from Munising, out M-28 towards Au Train, lunch at the Brownstone Inn (beyond the AuTrain flashing caution light), down the AuTrain Forest Lake Road to M-94, and back to Munising. Of course, the cruise to Grand Marais is also beautiful during the fall colors.
REGULAR CAR CRUISES
If you love cruising like we love cruising, come join the members of the Munising Bay Cruisers club! The MBC club holds cruises throughout the summer to new locations. They meet up in the Family Fare Supermarket parking lot on Saturday mornings, and head out on a new cruise. Just recently, they've been to the Garden Peninsula, Sault Ste. Marie, St. Ignace, Big Bay, and Baraga. Folks are always welcome to join the group, so come on down to the Family Fare parking lot!
